This week’s Mental Morsel: Spend a few minutes a day in the sun. The sun is the best natural source of Vitamin D, the amount of sun we get has a more significant impact on our moods than rain, temperature, or any other environmental factor, and it may even help you sleep better at night. And who doesn’t need an excuse to get up and go outside in the middle of the day?

The road towards mental health has been a long one for me. Join me as I share my journey and learn why talking about mental health is important to me. There are a lot of things that are briefly touched on that I am certain we will revisit later. I hope you listen until the end, not just to hear how I awkwardly end the episode, but to hear there is something on the other side of the pain, hurt, fear, frustration, anger, and helplessness that is worth fighting for.
